Lily is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana where she lived until moving to Illinois to attend Wheaton College. While at Wheaton, she earned a degree in English Writing with minors in anthropology and Biblical and Theological studies. She also met her husband, Jonathan, while at Wheaton and they were married in 2010.

Over the past decade Lily and Jonathan have lived in North Carolina, South Korea, South Carolina, and most recently Hong Kong. Lily and Jonathan first came to Apostles in 2015 when they moved from South Korea to Columbia for Jonathan to complete an MFA program at the University of South Carolina. They were members of Apostles for three years before moving to Hong Kong as teachers in 2018.

After 3 wonderful years in Hong Kong, they have returned to Columbia to settle down, along with their daughter Juniper who was born in Hong Kong. As an educator, a mother, and a believer, Lily is passionate about children coming to know who Jesus is and about the Church coming alongside parents as they seek to raise children to know and love the Lord.
